Provo Canyon tows: the mouth of the canyon, not a mountain fleet

Provo Canyon starts where University Parkway and University Avenue give up and US-189 climbs. Ice, tourists, limited shoulders, and sudden weather are the job. We dispatch light-duty work on the valley floor and the canyon approaches. A rolled vehicle on a dirt spur, rockfall, or a car already deep in alpine ice is a different class of recovery — say so so the operator can decline or refer.

Approaches vs. the canyon proper

If you are still in Provo city limits or at the mouth — parking pullouts, the first grades, the tourist backups — that is in the same coverage as Provo towing. If you are already well up the canyon toward Heber, that is an edge case. Heber and the alpine loop are outside the promise on this site. We would rather decline than sell a fantasy ETA from a valley truck.

Cell coverage gets moody. Put the last milepost, a landmark, and whether you are on pavement. If you need search-and-rescue, call 911. This form is not SAR.

Weather that fools the valley

The canyon ices and winds when Orem still looks dry. Leaf season and ski traffic both fill the same two lanes. We do not promise a five-minute hook on those days. We take the request and pass it to a local operator who knows whether a light-duty truck can work that shoulder.
